Mounting.

Mounting is an integral part of framing when it comes to works of art on paper, photography and more. We have a wonderful choice of options that will make your finished frames stand out from the rest.

With a huge offering of archival quality mounts, we guarantee the highest standards for your custom-made mounts.

Mount with Apertures.

Our mounts are cut with a beveled tilt to achieve that extra presentable quality and often clients opt for a double mount to bring extra depth and colour. We can cut smaller windows to show inserts or captions, multiple windowed mounts as well as circular or oval mounts.

Lay on Mounting.

Often with limited edition prints or work that has a deckled edge (frayed/torn paper edges) we suggest having the options to lay on your artwork to a mount backing board. This involves fixing the work onto your chosen mount using acid free tape and with mount showing all round to unsure the beauty of the deckled paper is not lost in the rebate.

Float Mount.

In a similar fashion to the lay-on option, we can also “float” an artwork on paper onto a mount background giving the illusion of the paper floating. The paper is fixed onto raised foam-core with mount showing all round. With this option, we introduce spacers into the frame which allows the glass to sit away from the artwork giving it a boxed effect.

Dry Mounting.

Another option for mounting works that are often creased, torn or tattered is our dry mounting technique. Using a film of adhesive between the artwork and a backing board, all components are fixed together in our dry mounting machine to ensure a beautifully presented result and a breath of new life to your artwork.
